Details

Creek is a decentralized RWAfi protocol that splits the value of tokenized physical gold (XAUm) into two independent components: GR (stable value) and GY (volatile value). Users deposit XAUm and receive GR and GY at a 1:100 ratio. GR represents gold's long-term stable price and can be used as collateral to mint GUSD, a USD-pegged stablecoin (initial collateral ratio 85%). GY captures gold price fluctuations, offering dynamic leverage (typically 10-30x) without liquidation risk. The protocol uses the GSVM mechanism (based on EMA and spot price) to compute stable value, and incorporates an insurance fund, tiered liquidation incentives, and a governance module (CREEK token) for system security.
