About Credible

Credible is a stablecoin settlement layer that combines local payment methods with on-chain settlement. It offers an open payment stack supporting 86+ local payment methods (UPI, Pix, SEPA, ACH, etc.), stablecoin settlement (USDC, USDT), AI-driven transaction routing, and a DeFi liquidity pool for instant merchant payouts.

Core value: replacing traditional multi-day settlement cycles with near-instant stablecoin settlement. The AI routing engine optimizes approval rates and costs; the DeFi liquidity pool fronts funds so merchants receive money in seconds rather than T+3 days. This is particularly valuable for cross-border e-commerce, digital services, and platforms needing fast, low-cost global payouts.

Market pain points addressed: traditional cross-border payments are slow (T+3), expensive (hidden 2-4% fees), and fragmented across local rails. Credible unifies these rails under one API, with stablecoin settlement eliminating intermediary banks and reducing costs. It also serves businesses in emerging markets lacking access to traditional banking infrastructure.

Recent development (2026-03 to 2026-09): In Q1 2026, Credible processed over $150M in stablecoin payments, bringing total network volume to $600M+. It expanded pay-in/pay-out coverage across Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines, and announced upcoming support for INR, VND, IDR, KES, NGN, and AED corridors. The network now covers 40+ markets with 86+ local payment methods.

Note: In 2025, Credible pivoted from trade finance to stablecoin payments, indicating its original business model did not achieve expected traction. The company operates under a US MSB license and partners with locally licensed entities for global compliance.

Credible began in 2024 as a Solana-native trade finance platform backed by Outlier Ventures. In 2025, it pivoted to stablecoin payments and PayFi, winning a Founders Villa prize and a Circle infrastructure grant. It scaled to $250M+ in T+0 settlement volume and $60M+ in financed payments, serving 100,000+ users. In July 2026, Credible launched its $CRED token via a MetaDAO futarchy sale, oversubscribed 8.2x, and expanded into Southeast Asia. The company now processes $162M monthly volume and is building an open payment stack with local rails and stablecoin settlement.

Positive factors:

In July 2026, Credible processed $162M in payment volume, generating $324K in revenue, with cumulative volume surpassing $936M. June saw $146M in monthly volume, a seventh consecutive record, 29% MoM growth, and a $3.5M annualized revenue run rate.

On July 13, the CRED token was launched via MetaDAO, with a $4M cap and $32.7M in commitments (8.2x oversubscribed). The token went live on Solana on July 17 and began trading.

Credible expanded into Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines, launched a business card pilot, and added a GTM lead. CRED is a governance token, granting holders voting rights on protocol and fee decisions.
