About BSC News

BSC News was founded in September 2020, focusing on crypto news and research for the BNB Chain ecosystem. Starting with a handful of team members, it gradually grew into a multilingual international media platform.

2021 marked a key turning point. The platform launched its first multi-project joint AMA, 'AMAchella,' inviting projects such as Wault Finance to participate; despite some turbulence, it showcased an open ecosystem for industry discussion. Subsequently, a livestream with CryptoBlades attracted over 5,500 viewers, validating the appeal of GameFi coverage. In August, the 'Security Summit' was held, bringing together ImmuneFi, Hacken, and others to discuss front-running bots and promote consensus on ecosystem security.

At the first anniversary celebration at the end of that year, the team announced it had expanded to over 30 members and supported nearly 20 languages. Today, BSC News continues to provide market analysis, project research, and regulatory coverage, serving as a key bridge connecting the community and the BNB ecosystem.

Updated: Sep 5, 2026

In the past six months (March to September 2026), BNB Chain (BSC) has undergone major technical upgrades. On August 25, the Pasteur hard fork was activated on mainnet, requiring nodes to upgrade to v1.7.7. This upgrade includes BEP-682 and BEP-695, strengthening cross-chain bridge, staking, and governance security; it also introduces BEP-675, allowing block builders to submit executed blocks while validators only need to sign and verify, significantly improving throughput. Testnet data shows TPS increased from 1,237 to 2,324.

Officially announced future development focuses include: doubling mainnet throughput again in the second half of 2026, and advancing the next-generation L1 architecture, targeting testnet by the end of 2026 and mainnet in early 2027. The new architecture aims for 100,000+ TPS, offering sub-50ms pre-confirmations and sub-1 second finality, eliminating the public mempool via TxStream to counter front-running, and setting up PriorityLane to reserve block space for critical transactions. Additionally, the team is researching post-quantum cryptography, planning a hybrid encryption scheme to enable users to seamlessly migrate to quantum-safe addresses.

These developments indicate that BNB Chain is evolving from a high-performance EVM network to a next-generation blockchain infrastructure.
