About Bridge

Bridge is a developer-focused stablecoin infrastructure platform that provides APIs for businesses to integrate stablecoin payments, issuance, and wallet management. Its core products include Orchestration (a single API for moving, storing, and accepting stablecoins), Issuance (enabling companies to launch their own branded stablecoins with managed reserves), Cards (global card programs), and Wallets (scalable digital asset wallets).

The market pain points Bridge addresses are clear: traditional cross-border payments are slow and costly, while existing stablecoin issuers like Tether and Circle charge high redemption or destruction fees that are impractical for large payment companies. Bridge positions itself as a neutral, compliant alternative, letting enterprises issue their own stablecoins without building compliance and reserve infrastructure from scratch.

In the past six months (February to August 2026), Bridge achieved a major regulatory milestone. In early July 2026, it obtained both an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license and a MiCA CASP authorization from Luxembourg's CSSF, covering all 27 EU member states. This dual license enables fintechs to offer regulated euro stablecoins, virtual IBANs, and cross-border settlement across the EU through a single API integration. It also launched its first euro stablecoin product (EURR) in partnership with Revolut, though initial circulation was minimal (around 369 EUR on-chain).

One notable limitation: Bridge's Open Issuance product requires clients to rely on third-party reserve managers, and the EURR launch showed very low early adoption. However, the MiCA compliance positions Bridge as a key regulated gateway for stablecoin services in Europe.
