About bloXroute
bloXroute is infrastructure for blockchain trading, centered on the Blockchain Distribution Network (BDN), offering real-time block streaming, transaction and bundle propagation, and validator solutions. It addresses core pain points: public network latency and transaction privacy. Normal node propagation is slow, and pending transactions in the mempool can be front-run or sandwiched. bloXroute uses a global relay network and private channels to get transactions to block builders faster while reducing intent leakage, helping market makers, searchers, trading bots, and validators improve execution certainty.
In the past six months, bloXroute was acquired by FalconX in July 2026. FalconX plans to combine bloXroute's network-layer technology with its institutional trading, financing, and prime brokerage services to support tokenized assets and 24/7 trading and risk management in onchain capital markets. This shifts bloXroute's role from a DeFi tool toward a connectivity layer for regulated markets. On products, its block streaming still emphasizes receiving blocks up to 1,000 ms earlier than the P2P network to spot arbitrage and liquidation opportunities.
Founded in 2017 by Uri Klarman and Aleksandar Kuzmanovic, bloXroute launched the Blockchain Distribution Network (BDN), a relay layer designed to minimize latency and maximize transaction propagation reliability across major chains.
During the 2020 DeFi Summer, bloXroute became the de facto infrastructure for DeFi traders and MEV searchers, routing over 40% of on-chain DeFi transaction volume at its peak and establishing the first private transaction relay model.
In 2022, the company shifted from rigid subscription tiers to a modular, per-chain service model with term-based discounts, reflecting the industry's move toward multi-chain and specialized infrastructure needs.
In July 2026, bloXroute was acquired by FalconX, a digital asset prime brokerage, to accelerate the development of onchain capital markets infrastructure, marking a strategic consolidation between trading execution and blockchain network layer.
In the past six months, bloXroute has seen several major developments. In July 2026, FalconX announced the acquisition of bloXroute, aiming to combine strengths to drive institutionalization of on-chain capital markets. In March, bloXroute introduced a new modular pricing model, shifting from fixed bundles to on-demand configuration, and offering free transaction services to lower entry barriers. In May, it launched Shreds Premium Region, providing earlier data access for Solana traders, first in Toronto. Also in May, to support Base's Azul hard fork, it extended the Flashblocks StateDiff stream with real-time execution logs. Additionally, bloXroute launched BSC Speed Boost, using the global BDN and private datacenter links to accelerate transaction delivery, saving up to 94 ms. Looking ahead, bloXroute will focus on expanding more Premium Regions, deepening integration with FalconX to offer institutional-grade trading infrastructure, and continuously optimizing cross-chain data services.
