About Blackwing

Blackwing is a modular blockchain built specifically for margin trading, allowing users to trade assets with leverage without the fear of liquidation. Its core innovation lies in the 'Limitless Pools' mechanism, which cleverly repurposes existing AMM liquidity positions to serve as margin collateral, eliminating the need for dedicated liquidation engines. The platform also features an intent-based architecture where users simply submit their trading goals, and a network of solvers competes to execute the best outcome across different chains, simplifying the user experience.

The primary market pain point Blackwing addresses is the risk of forced liquidation in traditional leveraged trading, which often leads to significant user losses. By removing this risk, it lowers the barrier for participation and provides a more capital-efficient trading environment. Additionally, its cross-chain intent system solves the complexity of managing positions across multiple networks.

In the past six months, Blackwing has made notable progress. The project launched its Tomcat-1 testnet, which is now live and open for users to experience its trading features. The development focus has been on refining the core protocol mechanics, including the solver auction system and the cross-chain messaging infrastructure, to ensure a robust and secure foundation for its upcoming mainnet launch.

Blackwing, a modular blockchain for margin trading, has reached key milestones. It completed a $4.5 million funding round led by Hashed and Gumi Cryptos, supporting development of its liquidation-free leverage trading platform. Additionally, its testnet, Tomcat-1, went live, enabling users to trade and validate the core mechanics of Limitless Pools and the intent-solver architecture. These events mark foundational steps toward its mainnet launch and long-term vision of cross-chain leveraged trading.
