About BitSafe

Details

BitSafe is an institutional-grade Bitcoin DeFi infrastructure protocol, formerly known as DLC.Link. It aims to bridge Bitcoin Layer 1 with smart contract networks, enabling institutions to securely wrap, hold, and utilize Bitcoin for yield without trusting a centralized custodian. Core products include wrapped Bitcoin (e.g., CBTC/iBTC) minted via decentralized threshold signatures (like FROST) and multi-party computation (MPC), and a Vaults product offering vetted Bitcoin yield strategies. Users deposit BTC on the platform to access DeFi applications like lending, trading, or structured products, while maintaining non-custodial or decentralized custody. The protocol emphasizes transparency, disclosing custody locations, ownership, and risk assumptions for all products before commitment.
