Details

Bitcoin Diamond (BCD) is a cryptocurrency created from a hard fork of Bitcoin at block height 495866. It retains Bitcoin's core features but adopts the X13 mining algorithm for ASIC resistance, enabling CPU/GPU mining. The block size is increased to 8MB to improve transaction throughput. The total supply is 210 million BCD, with a 10:1 distribution to original Bitcoin holders. It integrates SegWit and Lightning Network for faster transactions and includes anti-replay protection. Its goals are to reduce transaction fees, accelerate confirmations, lower entry barriers, and enhance privacy.
