Details

Beam is a decentralized exchange (DEX) built on Zetachain, focused on cross-chain asset trading. It leverages the ZRC-20 standard to enable direct swaps of native assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana without wrapped tokens or bridges. Beam adopts the ve(3,3) model, where users lock BEAM tokens to obtain veBEAM, granting governance rights and a share of trading fees. Its core components include CoreLink (a bonding mechanism that mints BEAM at a discount in exchange for blue-chip assets), MetaRouter (an aggregation router optimizing multi-chain swap paths), and Beam Shaders (WebAssembly-based smart contracts supporting on-chain logic and privacy features).
