About Ava Protocol
Ava Protocol is an intent-based EigenLayer AVS focused on private and automated blockchain transactions. It enables users to schedule recurring payments, limit orders, or conditional transfers directly on Ethereum, with transaction details kept confidential through TEEs and zkSNARKs.
Core pain points addressed include MEV exposure, private key risks from hot wallets, and the complexity of manual DeFi operations. By leveraging EigenLayer’s shared security and ERC-4337/6900 smart wallets, Ava Protocol offers a non-custodial automation layer where users retain full control while enjoying gasless and privacy-preserving execution.
Over the past six months (Feb–Aug 2026), Ava Protocol demonstrated its API for event-driven task execution, partnered with Phala Network to enhance transaction privacy, and joined Soneium’s Spark incubation program to support no-code automation for creators. Infrastructure upgrades included ECDSA key aliases, Prometheus monitoring endpoints, and an improved aggregator-operator communication protocol. The team also discussed cross-chain liquidity solutions with Gasp, focusing on MEV-protected swaps. No major negative events were reported during this period, though GitHub notes indicate manual review is still required for protobuf changes to avoid breaking updates.
