Details

Augment is a blockchain-based B2B marketplace for GPU computing resources, operating as a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN). It leverages hardware energy meters and software oracles for on-chain energy verification, with smart contracts recording transactions and usage data to ensure transparency and trust. The platform aggregates multiple compute providers, enabling enterprise clients to easily compare and select GPU resources, with options for monthly server rentals or on-demand AI compute. Its native token, AUG, follows a deflationary model through buy-back and burn mechanisms, and can be used for payment discounts and ecosystem governance. The project also plans to introduce NFT-based hardware access auctions and node staking to incentivize network growth.
