Details

Assembly is a smart contract chain network built on the IOTA Tangle, serving as Layer 1.5 infrastructure. It achieves high throughput and scalability through a parallel chain architecture, where each chain can independently configure consensus, fees, and governance rules while sharing IOTA's security and feeless transaction characteristics. Developers can write contracts in Solidity or Rust and interact across chains via cross-chain messaging. Its core mechanisms include DAG-based asynchronous execution, a quota-based resource model without gas fees, and staking ASM tokens to participate in chain security and governance.
