About Artificial Superintelligence Alliance

The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI) is a Web3 collaboration formed in 2024 through the token merger of Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, and Ocean Protocol, with CUDOS later joining as a compute partner. Its core business spans four integrated layers: ASI:One, an agent platform for autonomous AI tasks; ASI-1 Mini, a Web3-native large language model; ASI:Cloud, a decentralized GPU inference network offering OpenAI-compatible endpoints at roughly half the cost of comparable AWS services; and ASI:Chain, a BlockDAG-based Layer-1 blockchain designed for high-concurrency AI workloads, using the MeTTa programming language built on the Hyperon knowledge graph.

The alliance addresses three structural problems: fragmented AI infrastructure across separate projects, high barriers to computational resources as training costs surge, and over-centralization of AI development in a few Big Tech firms. Its competitive edge lies in vertical integration—combining compute, data, models, agents, and dedicated infrastructure in one stack, a breadth unmatched by other crypto-AI projects.

In the past six months (March to September 2026), ASI:Cloud has been commercially operating since December 2025, processing billions of inference tokens with over 1,000 users. ASI:Chain's DevNet is live, with testnet expected in 2026 and mainnet targeted for late 2026 or early 2027. ASI:Create entered closed alpha in February 2026. A partnership with Matterhorn was announced in April 2026 to attract 20,000 developers.

Negative developments within two years: Ocean Protocol exited the alliance in October 2025, accusing partners of unauthorized token sales and forced treasury conversion, leading to unresolved litigation in multiple jurisdictions. FET's price has fallen roughly 94% from its March 2024 all-time high, reflecting persistent market skepticism.

In July 2024, Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, and Ocean Protocol formed the ASI Alliance through a token merge, with FET becoming the unified base token and AGIX/OCEAN converting at fixed ratios. In October 2024, CUDOS joined, contributing decentralized GPU computing power and expanding multi-chain infrastructure.

In October 2025, Ocean Protocol announced its exit from the alliance, triggering token buybacks and market turbulence, but the alliance continued. In 2026, the alliance released ASI:One intelligent agent platform, ASI-1 Mini LLM, ASI:Cloud compute layer, and ASI:Chain dedicated blockchain, completing the transition from token merger to actual infrastructure. Recently, DWF Labs transferred 45 million USDT to the alliance, demonstrating institutional market maker support for the ecosystem.

Positive: In April 2026, the alliance partnered with Matterhorn to build an AI-native dev environment for ASI:Chain, targeting 20,000 builders; ASI:Create entered closed alpha in February with tooling progressing; ASI:Chain DevNet went live, with mainnet targeted for late 2026/early 2027.

Negative: Litigation from Ocean's exit remains unresolved across jurisdictions, overhanging the token; FET has fallen over 90% from its all-time high, with a market cap near $440M; the long-delayed FET-to-ASI ticker change continues to disappoint.
