About Alt

Alt is a modern marketplace focused on trading cards (e.g., sports cards), offering 24/7 auctions, fixed-price purchases, cash advances, card valuation data, and vaulting services. Its core strength lies in transparent pricing powered by proprietary data (Alt Value), fast liquidity for sellers (such as cash advances), and dual-listing on Alt and eBay. The traditional trading card market is fragmented, opaque in pricing, and illiquid; Alt addresses these issues through a unified marketplace, data tools, and financial services.

In the past six months (March to September 2026), Alt launched a "Bounty Auction" mode that allows buyers to place real bids on cards not yet listed, with bids automatically applied if the card is later listed. It also partnered with P Bidding in Thailand to expand into Southeast Asia. The platform saw several high-value transactions, such as a 2003 LeBron James card selling for $1.33 million. Additionally, the mobile app received continuous updates to improve user experience. No major negative events were identified.
