A summary of well-known AVS projects in the EigenLayer ecosystem.

Details

Aethos is a decentralized policy engine built on EigenLayer, designed to provide a customizable off-chain computation and execution layer for smart contracts. It enables developers to define off-chain transaction policies (e.g., whitelists, risk-control rules) and leverages EigenLayer's Actively Validated Services (AVS) mechanism, utilizing restaked ETH to achieve cryptoeconomic consensus, ensuring the correctness and security of policy execution. Its core mechanism moves policy computation off-chain, reducing gas costs and latency, while preventing malicious operations through consensus validation. Users or protocols can deploy policies, which are executed by operators and supervised by validators, thereby achieving flexible and efficient smart contract interaction control while maintaining decentralization.
