About Accrue

Accrue is a cross-border payment platform focused on Africa, offering USD accounts, virtual dollar cards, and stablecoin-powered transfers. Its core service, Cashramp, connects users through a local agent network across eleven African countries, enabling cash-to-stablecoin conversion and same-minute settlement to bank accounts or mobile wallets.

The platform addresses a fundamental market failure: Africa's fragmented payment ecosystems make intra-continental transfers slow and expensive, with average costs around 8% and settlement times stretching from days to weeks. Accrue solves this by charging a flat $2 fee for withdrawals above $200, eliminating hidden FX margins, and providing US bank account details (routing and account numbers) so users can receive USD payouts from global platforms like Fiverr or freelance clients.

For businesses, Accrue offers payment acceptance across multiple African countries through local methods, with instant access to funds. The virtual dollar card solves the common problem of international card declines for subscriptions and online purchases.

Since March 2026, Accrue has expanded its business offerings, updated its creator-focused guides on receiving USD payments, and continued strengthening its agent network coverage across major African markets. No significant negative developments were reported during this period.
