About Zoth
Zoth is a pioneer in the RWA (Real World Asset) ecosystem, building a bridge between traditional finance and decentralized finance. Its core business focuses on tokenizing real-world assets (such as US Treasuries, invoices), enabling on-chain users to invest conveniently.
Zoth's core competency lies in its 'institutional-grade' compliance and security, solving the problem of the on-chain world lacking access to high-quality, stable-yield assets. It offers a 'safe haven' for the volatile crypto market by strictly adhering to compliance frameworks and audits.
Over the past six months, the Zoth ecosystem has grown rapidly. Despite market fluctuations, Zoth provides investors with a relatively stable source of income by tokenizing real-world assets, effectively hedging against cryptocurrency market volatility.
However, Zoth also faces challenges of regulatory uncertainty and smart contract security. Despite the risks, the narrative and practical demand for a bridge connecting the two worlds remains strong.
Zoth was founded in January 2023 by Pritam Dutta and Koushik Bhargav as an RWA/liquidity infrastructure bridging traditional finance and on-chain finance. It early launched Zoth-Fi, an institutional-grade fixed-income market, and the Tokenized Liquid Note (ZTLN), deployed across eight blockchains including Ethereum and Polygon. In April 2024 it raised a $2.5M seed round; in August 2024 it completed a $4M strategic round with participation from Taisu Ventures and support from Coinbase, Hedera, and the XRPL Foundation, deploying $13M in private credit. It later received a $15M strategic investment from Bolts Capital and moved into privacy-focused stablecoins, with a new round led by Taisu Ventures in February 2026. On security, it suffered a $285K liquidity-pool exploit on March 6, 2025, and a $8.85M hack on March 21, 2025, caused by a leaked private key that allowed malicious proxy-contract upgrades. Zoth responded with a $500K public bounty. These incidents pushed Zoth to strengthen security monitoring and compliance, becoming a key risk-management case for the RWA sector.
Over the past six months (2026-03-02 to 2026-09-02), Zoth has made significant strides in its RWA ecosystem.
Key developments include a strategic partnership with Movement to build a $1B cross-border payment rail, positioning Zoth as Movement's native RWA yield layer. This integration enables institutional-grade yield on stablecoin balances via zVaults across three layers: yield, settlement, and cross-border payments.
Zoth also secured FINTRAC registration as a Money Services Business in Canada, strengthening its regulated payment infrastructure across North America. This expands its capabilities in foreign exchange dealing, money transferring, virtual currency dealing, and payment services, supporting compliant payouts across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
The launch of zOPAL, the first zVault strategy, provides on-chain access to BlackOpal's LiquidStone II strategy, offering up to 16% APY backed by investment-grade receivables. This marks a milestone in tokenizing asset-backed financing while maintaining institutional standards.
Looking ahead, Zoth's roadmap focuses on scaling zVaults with more curated institutional strategies, expanding its regulated payment network globally, and deepening the Movement ecosystem integration. The company aims to bridge traditional finance with stablecoin-native infrastructure, targeting high-growth emerging markets.
