About Wingbits
Wingbits is a blockchain-based flight tracking network. Users deploy specialized ADS-B receivers at home to capture aircraft signals, and the network rewards them with crypto tokens for contributing data. The core value lies in its cryptographic verification and proof-of-location technology, ensuring data authenticity and high precision. This addresses a long-standing market pain point: traditional flight tracking relies on unpaid volunteers, while companies like FlightRadar and FlightAware monetize the data, creating misaligned incentives and unreliable coverage. Wingbits solves this by fairly compensating contributors, incentivizing optimal antenna placement, and expanding coverage to underserved regions.
In the past six months (2026-03-12 to 2026-09-12), Wingbits launched its mainnet and the $WINGS token on Solana on April 22, 2026. The network now spans 120+ countries with 6,000+ active antennas, tracking up to 200,000 flights daily with 95% of data delivered in under 2 seconds. It also introduced Wingbits.ai, an AI-powered airspace intelligence platform that allows plain-language queries about flight activity, already used by enterprise customers like Spire Global and Korean Air R&D. No significant negative events were reported during this period.
In the past six months, Wingbits launched its mainnet and $WINGS TGE on April 22, debuting on Kraken and Solana’s Orca DEX with a liquidity-first approach. 51% of tokens are allocated to the community and contributors, with no airdrops/KOL allocations; 50% of foundation revenue is used for buyback & burn.
It also introduced Wingbits.ai, touted as the world's first airspace intelligence platform, enabling plain-language queries of live airspace data. Already adopted by Spire Global and Korean Air R&D. On the map, AI assistant Wingö offers natural-language flight lookups, military/VIP aircraft identification, and emergency squawk awareness.
The Rewards Hub entered early access, letting contributors redeem points for airport lounge access, miles, and other perks. Going forward, Wingbits emphasizes sustainable growth: community rewards scaling with real-world adoption, stronger buyback via B2B revenue, and a long decentralized roadmap.
