WELL3

WELL3 is a health-data platform begun in 2022 that collects steps, heart rate and sleep from the WELL Ring wearable and from Apple Health or Google Fit, stores readings inside trusted execution environments in its DePIN layer, and lets users scope access through WELL ID, a decentralised identity, so third parties read data only with explicit consent; an AI layer turns metrics into scores and suggestions, while a task system pays experience points convertible to WELL, with badges and NFTs marking milestones.

It acts as a revenue-rights layer for health data: users trade behaviour for rewards, brands and resorts accept WELL for spending, and the platform takes a share of anonymised data partnerships. The line-up covers the app, the ring, tasks and NFT badges, serving fitness users and health-consumption brands. Data scale depends on hardware shipments and phone health API permissions, and settlement spans Ethereum and several EVM chains, with points, badges and the device tied to one account that needs re-authorising when it moves.
