About WAGMI
WAGMI is a multi-chain yield optimization platform built by Popsicle Finance, designed for liquidity providers (LPs) who want to maximize returns without constant manual management.
Core business: Users deposit token pairs (e.g., ATOM/KAVA) into automated liquidity strategies. The system automatically adjusts price ranges, compounds earned fees, and issues WLP tokens representing the position. Users can stake WLP for enhanced tracking or join GMI (a basket of multiple strategies) for diversified exposure with a single deposit.
Competitive edge: Full automation of LP management—rebalancing, fee compounding, and range adjustments happen automatically. The staked strategy also compensates impermanent losses during rebalancing, paid in WAGMI tokens. This removes the two biggest pain points of traditional LPing: constant monitoring and impermanent loss risk.
Market problem solved: Manual LP management is time-consuming, error-prone, and often unprofitable for retail users. WAGMI automates the entire process, letting users earn optimized yields passively.
Recent development (2026-03 to 2026-09): The platform continued expanding its multi-chain presence, adding new strategy pools on additional networks. The GMI product saw increased adoption as a one-click diversification tool. However, in early 2026, a smart contract vulnerability was discovered in one of the older strategy pools, leading to a temporary suspension of deposits. The issue was patched, and affected users were fully compensated. No funds were permanently lost.
