About Velora
Velora, formerly ParaSwap, does DEX aggregation and intent-based trading: the aggregator splits orders and routes across more than 160 liquidity protocols, comparing pool quotes and dividing execution across paths, while the Delta architecture has users sign an intent that a competitive solver network fills, reducing MEV exposure and enabling gasless trades. The protocol is deployed on 12 chains with cumulative volume above USD 160 billion, serving wallets, dApps and institutions needing an API, with the Augustus contracts carrying legacy integrations. The line-up runs from aggregation and intent execution to cross-chain swaps and a yield optimiser, with the front end and API sharing one routing engine so wallet partners can embed swapping in their own interface.
Compared with a single DEX it holds no liquidity and wins on routing and solver competition; compared with batch-auction aggregators it keeps per-order splitting. On 10 April 2026 PIP-77 passed with 65.8% support: the DAO was dissolved, about USD 415,000 of treasury moved to developer Laita Labs, the 20% fee share and staking rewards ended, and VLR was left as a governance-only token.
Holder rights: On 10 April governance proposal PIP-77 passed with 65.8% support, winding down the DAO and handing protocol operations, infrastructure and revenue to developer Laita Labs; the 20% protocol fee share was cancelled and staking rewards ended, with stakers able to withdraw without a lock-up.
Setback: About USD 415,000 of DAO treasury moved to Laita Labs and VLR was reduced to a governance-only token, with key decisions now taken via Snapshot votes; the protocol had integrated 12 chains and processed over USD 160 billion in cumulative volume.
Velora's product cadence has accelerated over the past six months, with a clear focus: moving from single swap execution toward a full trading infrastructure for developers. Guarded Swaps launched on July 23 to reduce failure rates while maintaining the best price; Velora Portal followed on October 5, giving Pro API users app registration, trade tracking, and estimated partner fee monitoring; on October 18, Velora released an MCP server that lets developers build an AI trading agent across 10 chains in about 10 minutes without an API key, defaulting to gasless execution via Delta. These steps are progressive: first execution quality, then operational tooling, then opening the stack to AI agents.
This expansion builds on Velora's existing Delta intent protocol and Market API. Delta handles settlement, gas abstraction, and MEV protection, supporting TWAP, limit orders, OTC, and cross-chain swaps; the Market API acts as a DEX aggregator for scenarios requiring atomic settlement. Portal and the MCP server respectively address post-integration management and AI-agent invocation, signaling Velora's shift from an end-user aggregator to an execution-layer infrastructure platform for wallets, trading terminals, and DeFi protocols.
Mounir Benchemled — Founder & CEO; MSc in information technology from Abdelmalek Essaadi University, software engineer since 2007, started ParaSwap in 2019.

Velora charges a default 1 bps protocol fee on swaps; Velora partners set their own fees in bps and keep 100% on the Delta route and 85% on the Market route, with positive slippage surplus split 50/50.
