About Valory
Valory develops open-source infrastructure for autonomous AI agents. Its Olas protocol provides a software stack for building agents that operate independently on blockchains. Core products include Pearl, a desktop "agent app store" where users run their own AI agents with self-custodied wallets, and Mech Marketplace, a decentralized venue for agents to buy and sell data, computation, and services.
The core narrative extends "own your keys" to "own your AI agents": agents have their own wallets, transparent rules, and hardcoded risk controls, giving users full ownership of behavior and value. This addresses the pain point of centralized AI services where users lack control over data and profits, and the limitation of smart contracts that are merely reactive. Valory's agents can autonomously analyze data, trade in prediction markets, and collaborate with other agents.
In the past half year (March–September 2026), prediction-market AI agents drew significant attention. After Polystrat launched in February on Polymarket, data showed over 30% of Polymarket wallets were using AI agents; Polystrat executed 4,200+ trades in about a month, with a best single-trade return of 376% and over 37% of its agents achieving positive P&L, notably outperforming human traders. In June, Olas underwent a brand upgrade, refocusing on "co-own AI" with a new interface. Pearl continued to serve as the consumer gateway, while Mech Marketplace enabled agent-to-agent commerce. Valory also acknowledged the need for regulation of prediction markets, which face ethical concerns regarding manipulation and sensitive events.
