About VaderAI
VaderAI began as an AI investment DAO and Genesis rating agent in the Virtuals ecosystem and has pivoted into a physical AI data protocol, with the token still circulating on Base. The data layer has two entry points: EgoPlay, where users film first-person manipulation video on phones or smart glasses, and SimPlay, where users operate a Unitree G1 humanoid and arms inside a browser-based MuJoCo environment; submissions pass through ingestion, preprocessing, evaluation and post-processing before being paid per item, and partners pay for access to the data and model catalogue. The pain point is that robot training lacks real embodied data with action labels, that data is locked inside closed institutions, teleoperation is expensive and simulation diverges from real hardware.
The pivot replaced the earlier business wholesale, ending the staking and Yapping incentives on the site and returning tokens to holders. A third-party diligence page in May 2026 already described the project as a physical AI data protocol with three data lines, with EgoPlay in whitelisted closed testing; VADER fell from about USD 0.075 in January 2025 to roughly USD 0.001 by late September 2026, a market value near USD 1.2 million.
Staking and deflation: VADER has a fully unlocked 1 billion supply; about 511 million tokens (~51% of supply) are currently staked. Management fees are used to buy back VADER and distribute to stakers, while a 1% withdrawal fee from active funds is burned, creating a deflationary mechanism.
Progress and incentives: The platform launched a "Season 4" reward distribution and extended the token to Solana; the price rose about 229% over 30 days, but market cap remains below $4 million with thin liquidity.
In 2026, VaderAI continued its strategic pivot from AI investment DAOs toward physical AI / robotics data and formally graduated on ACP, launching Vader Tier Rankings V1 (public beta): a swarm of agents performs due diligence and tier-ranking on newly listed Genesis projects, and users can query any pre-TGE deal's tier directly. The project also runs its Season 7 contributor rewards program, distributing VADER for data-contribution tasks.
The team shifted focus from DeFAI products to physical AI, building EgoPlay, a first-person task-capture platform, and ORN, a video-processing system that turns everyday human-action recordings into structured robotics-training data; VADER lives on both Base and Solana as the pricing and governance medium for contributor rewards and service access.
Future strategy and roadmap: On the roadmap, VaderAI will deepen the EgoPlay and ORN data pipeline, expand robotics-dataset partnerships, and mature ACP V1's Virgen Points management with automatic pledging, claiming and staking optimization; staking remains available only on virtuals.io (14-day cooldown), with VADER continuing to tie contributor incentives and service calls across the agent economy.
Vader — Founder; founder of Vader Research, a Web3 gaming tokenomics research firm; launched VaderAI on Virtuals Protocol in 2024.
