UNK is the governance token of the Unlock protocol, designed to wrap veMAV and consolidate its voting power. Holders receive optimized Maverick voting power, strategy fees, swap fees, and additional incentives, while participating in Unlock governance and earning protocol fees through delegation. Users wrap veMAV into unkMAV to obtain UNK and join the Community Ownership program by holding Keys. Mechanically, it positions for Maverick similarly to CVX for Curve, aiming to enhance capital efficiency and governance influence.
