About UNGATE
Ungate is a verifiable agent network built on EigenLayer, founded in June 2024 with a team based in Vietnam. Its stated concept is an internet of agents, in which agents deployed by different developers can discover each other by capability, communicate and coordinate without a central platform brokering the match.
The technical core is making autonomy something that can be checked. Agents run inside trusted execution environments and generate a cryptographically signed proof at each step, attesting autonomy, sovereignty and integrity; proofs are stored on EigenDA and archived to Filecoin, the restaked validator network on EigenLayer independently verifies them, and verified executions are written on-chain to form a publicly checkable audit trail. That lets developers demonstrate they do not hold an agent's private key, and lets users verify that an agent really runs on its own. The project also provides deployment, billing and reputation infrastructure and intends to extend the verification framework to networks beyond Ethereum.
More than $5 billion of ETH was restaked on the platform at the time. On July 2, Lagrange said it had integrated DeepProve into Ungate's diagnostic agents, letting every medical AI decision be proven without exposing patient data. Partner Nuffle Labs planned to extend the framework to SOL, NEAR, BASE and VIRTUAL.
UNGATE's focus is extending the verifiable agent cloud from Ethereum to multi-chain restaking and moving into compliance-heavy verticals such as healthcare; however, no new public milestones appeared in 2026 and the website currently shows a paused deployment, leaving delivery uncertain.
