About TrueNorth
TrueNorth is an AI market intelligence agent that distills technicals, derivatives positioning, flows and onchain metrics from over thirty sources into readable analysis, with users following up conversationally. It targets traders piecing signals together across dashboards, where overload degrades decisions.
The mechanism wraps data queries as dedicated tools that the agent composes along preset workflows, outputs citing source and timestamp, and calls read-only interfaces without touching user wallets, so there is no direct fund risk. A third-party comparison included it among crypto AI agents in March 2026. Value depends on data coverage and reproducible analysis rather than the model itself.
TrueNorth was founded in February 2025 as a crypto AI discovery engine. In June 2025, it raised a $1M strategic angel round backed by founders of LayerZero, SEI, Selini Capital, and others, marking early validation of its agentic approach. In December 2025, it completed a $3M financing led by CyberFund with participation from Delphi Labs, SNZ, GSR, and Ocular, positioning itself as financial AI infrastructure. The platform achieved 98% accuracy on finance-specific tasks, 28% improvement over general models, and 80% latency reduction, with 40,000+ whitelist users ahead of public beta. These milestones establish TrueNorth's trajectory from inception to a specialized AI layer for crypto discovery and decision-making.
TrueNorth closed a $3 million pre-seed round in August 2026 led by CyberFund, with participation from Delphi Labs, SNZ, GSR and Ocular, plus angels including Bryan Pellegrino (LayerZero), WeeKee (Virtuals Protocol) and Jordi Alexander (Selini Capital). Future strategy and roadmap: TrueNorth has opened its public beta to a waitlist of 40,000+ users and partners with trading educators reaching over 1.5 million cumulative followers to turn professional traders' workflows into reusable AI digital twins, with about 33% 30-day retention among beta users. Going forward it will keep building around expert-trader digital twins and domain-specific financial models, turning the hallucination and latency problems of general-purpose LLMs in finance into its product moat.
