About ThunderCore
ThunderCore, an EVM-compatible public blockchain, launched its mainnet in 2019 with high throughput and sub-second confirmation times. The Soter hard fork (December 2020) enhanced security and performance. The Iris hard fork (completed January 2022) introduced EIP-1559, CREATE2, and other EVM opcode upgrades, significantly improving developer compatibility. The Athena hard fork (May 2024) focused on ecosystem sustainability, enabling ARM architecture support, shared read-only historical data for archive nodes, and on-chain governance voting. A landmark decision was the community-approved migration to the BSC chain, with ThunderCore mainnet producing its final block on September 1, 2026, followed by a three-month migration period for assets. These milestones reflect ThunderCore's evolution from a high-performance chain to one prioritizing flexibility, governance, and strategic interoperability.
Bearish: 1) In June 2026, a governance proposal passed raising block rewards from 45 TT to 135 TT and inflation from 0.12 to 0.32, diluting token value; 2) Upbit and Bithumb will end TT trading on Sept 14, a major delisting blow; 3) On Sept 1, ThunderCore mainnet stopped producing blocks and migrated to BSC; small balances require manual migration, creating uncertainty; 4) Some exchanges suspended deposits/withdrawals.
