About Temple
Temple is a New York digital asset trading and infrastructure company building an institutional non-custodial venue, bridge and issuance platform on Canton Network. Canton's selective privacy, where counterparties and amounts are visible only to involved parties while sharing one settlement state, suits regulated securities. Temple's order book matches around the clock, settles atomically in a regulated dollar stablecoin, and adds a bridge, liquidity vaults and APIs.
It addresses limited trading hours, layered custody and multi-day settlement in traditional markets while avoiding full exposure of institutional positions on a public chain. The firm is registered as a US money services business and onboards clients through identity and corporate checks. In July 2026, during DTCC's limited production exercise for tokenized assets, Temple executed the first on-chain US Treasury repo trade with DRW and HIFI as counterparties and Marex as broker and settlement agent, ahead of commercial launch in October.
Temple secured a strategic funding round led by SBI Group in May 2026, with SBI — a Canton Network founding partner and Super Validator — backing its product expansion and preparation to list regulated markets in H2 2026. In 2026 it launched Lightspeed, a performance upgrade delivering sub-second matching and 100,000 orders per second, among the fastest engines on the Canton Global Synchronizer. Mid-2026 Temple shipped Bridge By Temple (first version bridging Ethereum to Canton) and integrated Kaiko market data and Token Terminal analytics, standing as Canton's top revenue-generating application.
Temple's future strategy: list regulated markets in H2 2026, aiming to be one of the first non-custodial platforms offering privacy, real-time settlement and traditional financial instruments; leveraging Canton's $6T on-chain assets and 600+ institutions to expand institutional trading infrastructure and cross-chain routing.
