About TVL Capital
TVL Capital is a crypto financial infrastructure firm focused on Chain-Traded Products (CTPs). CTPs can be understood as on-chain versions of exchange-traded products (ETPs): institutional-grade structured products—including conditional and exotic payoffs—are issued, settled, and managed through smart contracts. Its core narrative is that financial assets are migrating on-chain, and structured products, which depend on conditional payments and programmable mechanics, are a natural fit for on-chain infrastructure.
On the market pain point side, the global retail structured products market has roughly $2.5 trillion in outstanding notional, and new issuance has nearly tripled since 2021. Yet this asset class still operates largely within traditional finance, with complex and inefficient issuance, distribution, and settlement processes. TVL Capital aims to give on-chain capital access to structured payoffs that were previously hard to deliver in a digitally native form, while offering traditional issuers a direct on-chain distribution channel.
In the past six months, TVL Capital was selected for the first Obex cohort backed by Sky, which allocates capital across credit, energy, and AI assets to expand stablecoin yield. The firm has also been advancing partnerships with global systemically important banks, traditional financial institutions, centralized exchanges, and on-chain protocols. According to public materials, it is building institutional-focused CTP issuance and trading infrastructure, though no specific product launch timeline has been disclosed.
TVL Capital closed a $5M funding round in June 2026, led by Framework Ventures with participation from Flow Traders, to accelerate the launch of Chain-Traded Products (CTPs). The company is building institutional-grade structured products on blockchain rails, targeting the $2.5T structured products market. Key developments include strategic board appointments: Ben Floyd (ex-Coinbase) and Thomas Raab (ex-SIX Digital Exchange), plus advisory additions including Larry Cermak (The Block president).
Future roadmap focuses on: 1) Core engineering and business development to bring CTPs to market, 2) Partnering with G-SIBs, TradFi institutions, centralized exchanges, and onchain protocols, 3) Leveraging favorable US regulatory momentum (GENIUS Act, CLARITY Act, Crypto Task Force) and tokenization initiatives by DTCC, Nasdaq, and NYSE. The team, led by ex-Morgan Stanley, UBS, and The Block executives, aims to bridge traditional finance with onchain infrastructure for structured products.
