About TRLab

TRLab is an art NFT platform centered on curation, collaborating with institutions and artists such as The Met, Calder Foundation, Chris Burden Estate, Cai Guo-Qiang, Vogue, and Rhizome to turn art-history knowledge into collectible digital experiences. Its typical format is a chaptered 'learn-to-collect' game: users unlock limited-edition NFTs by answering questions and completing tasks, rather than buying directly. The core narrative is combining art education with collecting, using professional curation and institutional credibility to address pain points such as lack of screening in the NFT market, high barriers to art entry, and difficulty for institution-level IP to reach new collectors.

In the past six months (March–September 2026), there has been little public activity; its LinkedIn shows the platform expanding toward a curated marketplace for artist-designed objects, gifts, and everyday keepsakes, indicating a shift from digital NFTs toward physical collectibles/lifestyle products. No major negative events were observed; note that a different South Korean cybersecurity threat-research body is also called 'TRLab' and should not be confused with this project.
