About THEA
THEA (thea.ai, @Thea_AI) provides AI-driven solutions for risk markets. Its core business is predictive behavioral AI, modeling human decision-making in high-stakes domains such as trading, credit, and fraud detection to support risk scoring, behavior prediction, and retention improvements.
The architecture splits heavy AI inference off-chain, uses Solana for request routing, accounting, and final settlement, and applies zero-knowledge proofs to verify computation without full on-chain execution. This aims to offer a programmable, verifiable payment and coordination layer for AI services, while avoiding the high cost and latency of on-chain inference.
Key pain points addressed: running AI inference on-chain is impractical, while purely off-chain AI lacks transparency and auditability; in addition, machine-to-machine payments for AI services lack a decentralized clearing infrastructure.
In the past six months, Thea Network appears to remain under development with no announced mainnet launch. Publicly claimed metrics (e.g., 3.5 billion decisions, 400 million monthly requests) have not been third-party audited, and product adoption details remain unclear.
During the period, THEA announced an $8 million strategic funding round led by Maven11 Capital and Spartan Group, with participation from Manifold Trading, Hack VC, and others. Funds will be used to expand operational AI infrastructure and accelerate the development of THEA Network. Currently, its models are trained on over 35 billion real-world decisions, processing over 400 million inference queries monthly, serving more than 3,000 enterprise customers across 30+ jurisdictions. THEA Network is the key new development: a Solana-based federated coordination and settlement layer utilizing off-chain compute, Solana anchoring, and zero-knowledge proofs for trust-minimized settlement of AI services.
Official future focus: launch THEA Network to connect AI models, humans, and AI agents, building a programmable settlement system for AI services; also plan to tokenize global access to autonomous systems, but clarify that no token or ICO exists currently. The network aims to support requests, payments, and verification in the machine economy, reducing AI payment complexity.
Known co-founders and core executives:
FJ (Co-founder): Crypto entrepreneur, co-founded THEA—a Solana-anchored partitioned off-chain compute network that settles AI requests via ZK-proofs. Previously affiliated with eGirl Capital and Chad Capital. THEA closed an $8M strategic funding round in July 2026.
Irena Mihova (Director Marketing & Communications): Current Director at THEA, also CMO at Shyft Network and Founder/CEO of i'm creative. 26+ years of experience; former senior roles at UN and OMEGA; based in Geneva.
