About Sunrise

Details

Sunrise is a Layer 1 blockchain that combines a data availability (DA) layer with a native liquidity hub, designed to provide high-throughput, low-cost DA services for Rollups and L2s while unifying security and liquidity through its Proof of Liquidity (PoL) mechanism. Its core features include: off-chain data availability for L2s built on frameworks like Rollkit or OP Stack (with erasure coding and KZG commitments ensuring verifiability); built-in AMM and cross-chain swaps (via IBC) for asset liquidity; and a fee abstraction mechanism allowing users to pay gas in any token, which the protocol automatically swaps to USDrise.
