Substance Exchange (SubstanceX) is a decentralized derivatives exchange that offers a centralized-exchange-like trading experience. It supports perpetual trading across 26 cryptocurrency pairs with leverage up to 100x, unified margin pool design, and a proprietary monotonic queue liquidation system that optimizes liquidation efficiency and reduces shortfall risk. It balances long/short open interest through funding fees instead of borrowing fees. Users can trade or provide liquidity using ZETA and BTC (coming soon) as margin, earning trading fee shares. Upcoming features include a Strategy Market (copy trading) and Simple Options. SEX is the governance token, and the platform repurchases it monthly with net profits to reward liquidity providers.
