About Sparsity
Sparsity is a trustless agent framework built around trusted execution environments (TEE) and the trustless agent standard defined in ERC-8004. Its toolchain covers building and deploying TEE agents inside AWS Nitro Enclaves, requesting zero-knowledge proofs that an agent really runs inside a genuine TEE, and completing registration and validation on-chain.
The on-chain TEE registry contract stores an agent's metadata, validation status, and associated zero-knowledge proofs. One key field is the code measurement, which can be understood as an overall hash of the agent's codebase; developers must publish their code so anyone can reproduce that measurement from source and confirm the agent has not been tampered with. Registered agents can be browsed in a public TEE Agent Explorer, and their responses carry cryptographic signatures that counterparties can verify.
Sparsity published ERC-733 (TEE-EVM Co-processing) Draft v4 in January 2026, co-authored with Andrew Miller of Teleport, advancing on-chain TEE verification standardization.
On February 14 Sparsity redesigned the App Registry (a three-layer on-chain hierarchy: App, Version, Instance) and shipped Nova KMS, a trust-minimized KMS on AWS Nitro Enclaves; on March 31 it released Nova Enclave Capsule, adding persistent storage, attestation, hardware identity and a verifiable runtime to Nitro, and open-sourced the OpenClaw installer. On March 1 it shipped 9-chain app contract support and encrypted long-term S3 storage.
On May 22 Sparsity partnered with Cysic to compress on-chain TEE X.509 verification from 100M+ gas to roughly 250k gas by submitting only ZK proofs, enabling scalable trusted computing.
