Details

Skywalk is a liquidity protocol for prediction markets, designed to bridge prediction market positions with the DeFi ecosystem. Its core function is to bridge and wrap prediction market tokens (e.g., from Polymarket) into standardized Skywalk Prediction Tokens (SPT) via the Skywalk Bridge, enabling these tokens to participate in other DeFi protocols and gain composability and liquidity. Users must hold prediction market tokens, then the bridge interface automatically detects and mints SPTs in about 9 seconds. SPTs can be used for lending, trading, or collateral in DeFi. The protocol requires underlying tokens to be instantly redeemable at resolution and encourages projects to enhance market depth through liquidity incentive programs. For prediction market protocols, Skywalk offers two token issuance models: universal issuance (leveraging account abstraction, no balance storage) and on-demand issuance (protocol manages its own ledger), and can include tokens from high-liquidity markets into the Skywalk Registry to expand distribution.
