About Singularity

Singularity is an institutional on-chain darkpool protocol deployed on Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Base for funds, market makers, and large traders, addressing MEV, front-running, and trade-leakage caused by order exposure on public blockchains. Its mechanism has two layers: a darkpool execution layer hides asset pairs, sizes, and wallet addresses to prevent sandwich attacks and slippage; a privacy layer uses ZK circuits (the Noir-based UltraPLONK proof system) to conceal balances, swaps, and transfers of ETH, ERC-20, and ERC-721, while Relayer nodes submit meta-transactions so users never reveal addresses or pay gas directly. Compliance uses a Compliance Oracle with KYB/KYC, proving a valid compliance token via ZK without leaking identity.

Singularity's DeFi position is an institutional confidential execution layer, differing from public Order Book DEXs by aggregating fragmented liquidity into a private venue. Its Darkswap currently runs a Phase 1 centralized matching engine, with decentralized peer-to-peer matching still in progress, so order matching still relies on a centralized component at this stage; the protocol verifies ZK proofs in non-custodial smart contracts and settles on-chain, balancing confidentiality and auditability through cryptography rather than trust.
