About Silhouette
Over the past six months (2026-03-04 to 2026-09-04), Silhouette has made significant strides. In May 2026, it launched Shielded Spot Trading in open beta, enabling users to trade HYPE/USDC via a delegated wallet while keeping funds under user control, with policy engines for compliance. On September 1, 2026, Silhouette activated its RFQ (Request for Quote) system on Hyperliquid mainnet, initially supporting tokenized equities from xStocks. This allows traders to request quotes on any supported xStock, with market makers competing and settlements executed on-chain. The RFQ layer addresses liquidity gaps for assets without order books. Looking ahead, Silhouette's roadmap includes expanding RFQ and RFM infrastructure for larger workflows, introducing a Net Settlement layer to reduce price impact, adding more trading pairs, enabling HIP-3 markets on naked perps, and developing shielded TWAP/VWAP as part of its iceberg suite. Future releases will focus on deeper intent protection, expressive order types, and fully confidential routing while settling publicly. The team also plans to make Silhouette the cheapest venue for buying HYPE and to support institutional access through policy engines.
