Details

SandClock is a decentralized finance protocol that generates yield for users through curated vault strategies. Users deposit assets, which the protocol deploys into managed strategies while continuously monitoring risk. Holders of its governance token QUARTZ control the protocol, participating in decisions such as parameter adjustments and fund allocation. The protocol utilizes UMA's KPI options to optimize token distribution and plans a progressive DAO governance path from temperature checks, Snapshot voting, to SafeSnap on-chain execution. Vault strategies are upgradeable but require conditions like empty positions and governance approval. Performance fees accrue to QUARTZ holders and are reinvested to boost overall yields. Security measures include timelocks and pause functions for emergencies.
