About RouteMesh

RouteMesh is a smart RPC routing layer that sits between blockchain applications and node providers. Instead of connecting to a single provider, apps connect to RouteMesh, which automatically routes each request to the best available node from its network of 15+ providers and 1000+ chains.

Its core value is intelligent routing. It offers two strategies: Economy (lowest cost) and Performance (lowest latency), and automatically fails over to backup nodes if one fails. A standout feature is Sentinel, a data quality system that continuously verifies node responses through replay and lag checks, ensuring users never get stale or incorrect data.

The problem it solves is the fragmented RPC market: providers have different quality, pricing, and reliability, and no single one covers all chains. RouteMesh unifies access, provides transparent per-request pricing (no subscriptions), and removes the need for users to manage multiple provider accounts.

In the past six months (March–September 2026), RouteMesh has focused on product maturity. It launched Sentinel as a formal system, added organization-level account support for teams, and integrated with Raycast for developer convenience. The service has expanded its chain coverage and continues to emphasize its public metrics and transparent operations, positioning itself as a neutral, quality-focused layer for the Web3 infrastructure ecosystem.

RouteMesh's key developments from Mar to Sep 2026:

On Mar 2, 2026, during a BNB node rate-limit incident, traffic was auto-rerouted to Chainstack in 220ms with zero failed requests, demonstrating the reliability of its fallback system.

On Apr 30, Boar Network joined the provider network, adding dedicated Ethereum and Mezo nodes with multi-region redundancy.

On May 14, RouteMesh published its first RPC client diversity research, covering 1,000+ EVM chains and 30+ providers, offering transparency into node client distribution.

On Jul 15, the platform became "agent-native," introducing management tokens and an updated MCP server that lets AI agents query usage, manage API keys, and interact with accounts directly.

On Jul 21, support for Robinhood Chain (an Ethereum-compatible L2 for financial services, chain ID 4663) was added, enabling wallet, trading, and agent workflows on that network.

Future focus areas: continuing to strengthen edge routing with lower-latency paths, advancing data quality via replay and lag checks, enhancing reliability through auto-retries and health scoring, and deepening AI-agent integration alongside ecosystem transparency initiatives.
