About Rialo
Rialo was founded by Ade Adepoju and Lu Zhang, early engineers at Mysten Labs who were deeply involved in the development of the Sui network, possessing solid Web2 and Web3 technical expertise.
In August 2025, Rialo announced the completion of a $20 million seed round led by Pantera Capital, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Fabric Ventures, Hashed, Mirana Ventures, Variant, Mysten Labs, SIG, Flowdesk, and Edge Capital. This funding scale is among the leading in the RWA sector, marking strong market recognition of Rialo's technical direction.
Rialo's core positioning is to build a dedicated blockchain for real-world assets, with its innovation lying in seamlessly integrating real-time data feeds, on-chain automated execution, and traditional financial systems, transforming RWAs from static tokens into "living" assets that can respond in real time. The project's testnet is about to launch, marking the entry of its technical architecture into the actual validation phase.
These milestones form the main line of Rialo's development from inception to initial validation, and subsequent progress is worth continued attention.
Over the past six months (2026-03-01 to 2026-09-01), Rialo has advanced its "Real World Chain" vision through several key milestones. The project completed a $20M seed round led by Pantera Capital, with participation from Variant and Coinbase Ventures, and launched its public testnet, allowing developers to experiment with native data, automation, and compute integration.
Technically, Rialo has demonstrated protocol-level internet connectivity, eliminating the need for oracles or bridges. This enables real-time asset pricing, automated liquidations, and event-driven settlements directly on-chain. The team also showcased a privacy-preserving credential verification system using zkTLS, which supports undercollateralized lending without exposing borrower data.
Looking ahead, Rialo's roadmap emphasizes three pillars: (1) scaling RWA tokenization with live data feeds for dynamic pricing and compliance; (2) expanding credit infrastructure for both human and AI-agent borrowers, using verifiable credentials and reputation layers; and (3) enhancing prediction market settlement speed to reduce exploit windows. The team is also preparing for mainnet launch, with a focus on institutional-grade security and cross-chain interoperability.
Rialo's founding team includes Ade Adepoju (Co-Founder & CEO) and Lu Zhang (Co-Founder & CTO). Ade previously worked as an early engineer at Mysten Labs (Sui) and at Netflix, with experience in AMD microprocessor development. Lu was a core engineer on Meta's Diem project and has held roles at Google focusing on AI/ML infrastructure. Both have backgrounds in building high-performance Layer 1 blockchains.
