About Remix

Remix is a platform that combines AI and mobile gaming. Users can describe a game idea in natural language and quickly generate a playable game, then publish it directly to iOS, Android, and the web. Its core strengths include no-code creation, instant publishing, and cross-platform distribution, with support for voice-based creation and built-in progression systems (levels, stars, trophies), letting developers focus on game design. The platform addresses the pain points of high development barriers, complex publishing processes, and limited distribution channels in traditional game development, enabling anyone to become a game creator. In the past six months, Remix launched a Levels mode, voice creation, native iOS and Android apps, integrated with World App, and introduced weekly creator rewards, further lowering the entry barrier and expanding player reach.

Initially launched as Farcade, founded by brothers Charlie and Bobby, aiming to create a Mario Party-style experience. During development, the team discovered that an internal AI tool could quickly generate games, producing multiple games in a day, leading to a pivot toward an AI gaming platform. After the platform launched, users could create new games by prompting or remixing existing ones, forming a "digital telephone" model, quickly attracting over 570,000 players with more than 17 million total plays. Subsequently, a $5 million seed round was completed, led by Archetype, bringing total funding to $6.75 million. The brand was renamed from Farcade to Remix, expanding beyond Farcaster to Telegram and the World app, with an upcoming launch on Coinbase's wallet. Recently, a Levels mode was introduced, featuring levels, stars, and progress saving, enhancing game depth and long-term retention.

Remix has made major strides in the past six months. It closed a $5M seed round led by Archetype (with Variant, Coinbase Ventures, Lemniscap, and Zynga co-founder Justin Waldron), bringing total funding to $6.75M, and rebranded from Farcade to Remix as an AI-driven mobile gaming platform. The platform now boasts 570K+ players, 800+ games, and 17M+ plays. Product milestones include the July launch of "Levels" (a second game mode with stars, saved progress, and trophies) and the platform-wide game Glass Bridge (July 23) featuring a $5,500 cash prize pool and a Golden Ticket economy (loot boxes, guaranteed at level 30, season rewards). Distribution spans Telegram (TON) and the World app (EVM), with a Coinbase wallet launch imminent.

Future priorities: an on-chain monetization toolkit, ads and in-app purchases for creators, a weekly creator rewards program (based on plays, retention, and shipping), replacing the global leaderboard with leagues, and deeper Farcaster/World identity integration.
