About Reflect

Reflect is a permissionless onchain system on Solana that wraps existing stablecoins (USDC, USDT) into yield-bearing 'plus' assets (USDC+, USDT+), and also offers USTR+ backed by tokenized US Treasury bills. Its core value is replacing human-managed stablecoin issuers with transparent, program-governed infrastructure: deposits are held by onchain programs, yields are generated from overcollateralized lending markets (e.g., Kamino, Jupiter) with a risk methodology published in full, and redemptions are instant and atomic. It also provides 'Protect' tranche markets that split any yield-bearing asset into senior (protected) and junior (high-yield, first-loss) positions, and a 'Create' feature for launching custom yield assets. The market pain point addressed is the lack of transparent, non-custodial ways to earn yield on stablecoins without trusting a centralized issuer or manually juggling multiple DeFi protocols. In the past six months (2026-03-04 to 2026-09-04), Reflect launched universal tranching (Reflect Tranches) in July 2026, enabling risk-tiering for any yield asset, and announced a partnership with a major DeFi issuer. In April 2026, the Drift hack affected USDC+ reserves; on July 2, 2026, Reflect opened a voluntary recovery plan offering 0.20 USDC + 80 RC per unit via Palindrome Engineering, with full onchain settlement, while letting opt-outs support Drift's own DFX recovery channel. No other major negative events were reported.

Over the past six months (2026-03-04 to 2026-09-04), Reflect has made significant strides on Solana. The most notable development was the launch of Reflect Tranches in late July 2026, a universal tranching layer that splits any yield-bearing asset into protected and high-yield tranches, enabling users to select their preferred risk profile. This product targets protocols seeking better markets around yield assets, institutions requiring structured exposure, and users wanting risk customization. Reflect also unveiled a permissionless framework for yield-bearing stablecoins, replacing custodial allocators with transparent onchain risk models and automated capital deployment. With $14.85B of stablecoins on Solana, USDC+ routes collateral through Drift/Kamino/Jupiter-style borrow demand, turning float into shared money-market inventory and lowering margin costs across perps, spot leverage, and LP books. The product line includes USDC+, USDT+, and USTR+, each backed by distinct strategies. Looking ahead, Reflect plans to partner with a major DeFi issuer to expand risk markets for more assets. Global insurance is marked as Q4 2026/not live, so integrators must underwrite venue risk and rate durability themselves. The roadmap emphasizes expanding tranching infrastructure, deepening integration with Solana DeFi, and enhancing the SDK for stablecoin minting/redeeming and tokenized bond distribution.
