About Crypto Unicorns / Laguna Games
Crypto Unicorns is a collection-and-raising blockchain game on Arbitrum built around unicorn NFTs, with breeding, battling, and land-management loops settled in the RBW token across breeding, upgrades, and marketplace trades. Developed by Laguna Games, the title ran a breeding-centric gameplay loop at its peak, complete with seasons, leaderboards, and tradeable land and cosmetic assets, plus lightweight party titles such as Rainbow Rumble as complements.
In September 2024 the team cut roughly 80 percent of its staff, after which the product line narrowed to lightweight party play while the larger breeding and land systems stopped receiving development investment. On-chain data still shows RBW circulating between Arbitrum and BNB Chain, and remaining unicorn NFT trades clear mostly as secondary-market listings. The case is often cited to show how a chain game buys room to survive after token incentives fade, by shrinking team and product scope.
Token sunset: RBW has been superseded by the new CU token, with holders migrating at a 10:1 ratio to Arbitrum and Xai; Laguna Games cut 80% of its staff in September 2024 and shut down the core land gameplay, and active development has essentially ceased.
Fundamentals: In July 2026 RBW traded near $0.000353 with a market cap of roughly $88K and 24-hour volume under $1, down about 71% over the past year; the team recommends all holders complete the migration.
