About RISE Chain
RISE Chain, an Ethereum Layer2, has achieved key milestones in its development. In June 2025, it secured $4 million from Galaxy Ventures, bringing total funding to $8 million, aimed at advancing its mainnet launch. Earlier, ether.fi's $40 million venture fund included RISE Chain among its first investments, alongside Resolv and Symbiotic. These financial backings underscore confidence in RISE's technical approach, which combines Based Rollup with parallel EVM to deliver high throughput and low latency. The project's roadmap, as outlined in its blog, emphasizes a phased transition to decentralized sequencing, ultimately leveraging Ethereum validators for preconfirmations. These funding rounds and technical strides mark significant long-term milestones, positioning RISE to redefine Layer2 performance while maintaining Ethereum-aligned security.
Since March 2026, RISE Chain has achieved major milestones. Mainnet launched in May 2026 with 100k+ TPS and sub-3ms latency via Block-STM parallel execution and based rollup sequencing. Full onchain data became queryable on Dune Analytics, enabling real-time monitoring of network activity, performance, and fee dynamics. The team published a three-phase decentralization roadmap: Taste (single bonded gateway) → Aligning (rotating staked gateways) → Basedening (open gateway system coordinating with Ethereum L1 validators). RISE is explicitly preparing for Ethereum's Glamsterdam upgrade in 2026, which will reduce L2 data posting costs and improve based rollup economics. Future focus includes scaling the gateway network, enhancing preconfirmation mechanisms, and strengthening the orderbook ecosystem (RISEx) with features like AutoYield and Permissionless Portfolio Margin, all while maintaining full EVM compatibility.
