About RAAC

RAAC is a decentralized RWA (Real-World Asset) lending protocol that tokenizes physical assets such as gold and real estate, bringing them on-chain for borrowing and lending.

Its core products include pmUSD, a stablecoin backed by gold reserves (with legal title to NI 43-101 proven reserves in the Yukon), and RAACLend, a platform where tokenized real estate (REET NFTs) can be used as collateral to borrow stablecoins. The protocol also operates independent "silos" for each asset type to isolate risk and uses Chainlink price feeds for collateral valuation.

RAAC addresses the market pain point of illiquid real-world assets by enabling their use in DeFi. It solves the problem of DeFi's lack of stable, yield-generating collateral by offering tokenized assets with intrinsic value, uncorrelated to crypto market volatility.

In the past six months (March to September 2026), RAAC has: reached redemption agreements with APMEX and Kitco for pmUSD (live the week of July 6th); launched a Peg Stability Module (PSM) to close arbitrage loops; formed a strategic partnership with Frax for T-bill and RWA stablecoin pools; and announced a long-term collaboration with Curve Finance deploying over $100M in pmUSD liquidity. The $iREET bonds matured at the end of May 2026.

One notable negative event: in early 2026, pmUSD faced redemption controversy with claims that redemptions corresponded to mining rights rather than physical gold, causing market panic. RAAC responded that collateral remains intact and funds would be deployed to restore liquidity.

As a decentralized RWA lending protocol, RAAC's key milestones include:

In March 2025, RAAC officially launched its testnet, securing an initial $235 million treasury contribution from Pretio, backed by gold reserves. This provided substantial asset backing for the platform, marking RAAC's transition from concept to actual operation.

In Q4 2025, RAAC released its whitepaper, systematically outlining its two core products: RAACLend (allowing users to borrow crvUSD against tokenized RWAs such as real estate) and RWf(x) (using tokenized RWAs like precious metals as collateral to mint CDP stablecoins). The whitepaper clarified the platform's technical roadmap and long-term vision.

In July 2025, according to RootData, RAAC became the project with the most new Top followers in the past 7 days, indicating significantly increased market attention in the DeFi and RWA sectors.

These milestones collectively trace RAAC's development from testnet launch, product planning, to market recognition.

Over the past six months (2026-03-04 to 2026-09-04), RAAC has achieved significant milestones. In March 2026, its gold-backed stablecoin pmUSD settled over $1.2 million in corporate debt for I-ON Digital Corp, marking the first real-world TradFi transaction using the stablecoin and validating its infrastructure for traditional financial operations. On the DeFi front, RAAC strategically leveraged Convex to control ~4.49% of veCRV voting power, becoming the fourth-largest governance participant. By July, total veCRV weighting reached 6.50%, directing 9.35M CRV emissions to its pools. The iREET/pmUSD pool saw TVL grow from $0.90M to $3.5M, with APYs ranging 10.6%-50.4%. Looking ahead, RAAC's roadmap focuses on: Phase 2 (2026) expanding protocols with ZENO bonds, outcome-based strategy products, and onboarding $300M+ in gold assets; Phase 3 (2026-2027) targeting institutional growth through partnerships with custodians, regulated funds, and government relations for global RWA licensing. The project emphasizes sustainable yield generation through governance-driven emissions and real-world asset integration.
