About QoreChain
QoreChain, a Swiss-based Layer 1 blockchain, has progressed through a structured roadmap. From 2017 to 2022, it laid the foundation by developing digital asset security infrastructure and core blockchain protocol architecture. In 2023–2024, it pivoted to quantum-resistant and AI-native technologies, integrating NIST-standardized post-quantum cryptography (ML-DSA-87, ML-KEM-1024, SHAKE-256) and developing the PRISM consensus engine alongside a triple virtual machine (EVM, CosmWasm, SVM) environment. In 2025, the testnet (chain ID: qorechain-diana) launched, along with tools like the QCAI smart contract creator and auditor, and cross-chain bridge architecture. A key milestone occurred on June 7, 2026, when mainnet went live, followed by a technical TGE, validator staking, and block rewards. Shortly after, on July 2, 2026, QoreChain completed what it describes as the first blockchain transaction secured end-to-end using all three NIST post-quantum algorithms on a public mainnet. These events mark significant long-term steps toward quantum-safe, AI-native, and interoperable blockchain infrastructure.
Co-founder and CTO of QoreChain: Liviu Ionut Epure. Based in Brăila, Romania, he has over 24 years of experience in technology and management. He previously founded several tech companies including DOLIMAGE, focusing on post-quantum cryptography (PQC), AI, and blockchain architecture. QoreChain development started in 2017; he led its pivot from a digital asset security platform to a post-quantum, AI-native Layer 1, overseeing technical strategy and core development such as the SDK.
