Details

Portis is a non-custodial blockchain wallet designed to lower the barrier to using decentralized applications (DApps). It provides account management, transaction signing, and gas fee payment through a browser extension or web interface, allowing users to access DApps without installing additional plugins or managing private keys, just like using traditional apps. Its technology is based on blockchain networks such as Ethereum, employing client-side encryption and server-side storage of encrypted wallets to ensure asset security while simplifying the user experience. Portis was acquired by the cryptocurrency exchange ShapeShift and continues to offer developer-friendly wallet integration solutions.
