Overlayer is a non-custodial smart-contract protocol that wraps stablecoins such as USDC and USDT into liquid, non-rebasing, composable overlaid assets (e.g., C+ and T+). Users mint overlaid assets at a deterministic 1:1 ratio by depositing supported stablecoins and can use them across DeFi. If yield is desired, users can stake the overlaid assets to receive a separate share-based representation whose value accrues via exchange-rate appreciation, with yield sourced from realized returns at external venues such as Aave. The protocol does not rely on leverage, forced lockups, or token emissions; core operations (mint, redeem, stake, unstake) are permissionless on-chain actions, and LayerZero enables cross-chain transfer.
