About Okto

Okto is a company providing embedded crypto wallet infrastructure. Its core product, the Okto SDK, allows developers to integrate simple login flows where users can create self-custodial wallets via social accounts like Google, without managing seed phrases. The technology uses multi-party computation (MPC) for distributed key management, and supports cross-chain transactions and unified asset queries, letting users operate assets on multiple chains from a single interface.

Regarding market pain points, traditional Web3 wallets suffer from complex private key management, the need to switch networks and pay gas fees for cross-chain operations, and asset fragmentation across multiple wallets. Okto abstracts the chain and account layers, enabling users to transact without understanding underlying blockchain details, while also supporting gas fee payments in stablecoins or sponsored by applications, lowering entry barriers.

In the past six months (Feb 2026 to Aug 2026), Okto mainly advanced its developer ecosystem: releasing SDK updates for platforms like React and Flutter, and introducing an in-app fee rebate model that returns a portion of transaction fees to users or developers to boost on-chain activity. Additionally, Okto showcased integration cases in gaming and DeFi on social platforms, emphasizing cross-game asset interoperability and simplified token swaps via its SDK. Overall, Okto's focus has been on expanding SDK adoption and driving mainstream Web3 application penetration by lowering barriers for both developers and end users.

Okto has advanced its chain abstraction vision with the Okto Chain mainnet (Arbitrum Orbit L1) and the Okto SDK v2, enabling seamless multi-chain transactions. The TGE and airdrop in late 2025 expanded its user base to over 2.5 million on-chain users. Official roadmap highlights: 1) deepening the Okto Chain ecosystem with more DeFi protocols and intent-based settlement; 2) expanding the embedded wallet to support more chains and cross-chain intent execution; 3) enhancing the Okto DEX and futures trading with aggregated liquidity; 4) growing the Okto Ecosystem Fund to incentivize developers. Future focus remains on chain abstraction, intent-centric UX, and MPC-based security.
