About NodeStrategy
NodeStrategy is a digital asset treasury project built around Bitcoin Rune assets, holding the NODESTR rune as its core position alongside a collection of NodeMonkes ordinal NFTs. Transparency is placed first: holding addresses, change logs and an on-chain receipt for every operation are publicly queryable, so holders can verify the treasury's actual state themselves rather than relying on periodic reports.
Fund flows follow rules fixed at deployment: one tenth of protocol revenue is spent buying NodeMonkes on the market in tranches across price bands, and as NFT prices move up a preset ladder sells part of the position for bitcoin, with the proceeds used to buy back and burn NODESTR and thereby reduce circulating supply. Every buy and sell is triggered by an on-chain script and recorded, the parameters carry no manual override, and the pace of execution is set by market conditions.
NODESTRAT, launched in the first half of 2026, is a Bitcoin Rune with a 1 billion supply. It charges a 10% fee on every buy and sell, with 90% going to the treasury and 10% to Bound, uses the proceeds to buy NodeMonkes and sells them through a ladder on Satflow, and spends all BTC proceeds on buybacks and burns.
A May 25, 2026 analysis showed NodeStrategy's treasury holding 676 NodeMonkes at a 0.021 BTC floor and about $1.17 million in net asset value, yet the token traded at 0.46x NAV on roughly $9,000 of daily volume with no burns recorded. Because Bitcoin L1 cannot enforce fees at the token level, liquidity stays trapped on Bound, and the 20% round-trip cost suppresses trading, leaving the flywheel largely stalled.
NodeStrategy plans to scale treasury purchases and ladder sales, deepen market making on Bound, and explore ways to make the fee mechanism work across venues.
